Rapide SL Insulated

Took this on a three-night trip and it packed down small enough to cram into my 40L pack alongside everything else. The insulation kept me warm down to freezing without feeling bulky underneath. Weight savings alone made the upgrade worth it.

The insulation improvement is the real deal—I took this out in 40°F weather and stayed warm all night without adding layers. It also packs down noticeably smaller than my old pad, which freed up serious room in my pack.

Packed down to about the size of a water bottle in my pack, and the weight drop is noticeable on long carries. Woke up warm on a frosty morning with the improved insulation doing its job, and the inflation was quick enough that I didn’t dread setting up camp.
