We do a lot of rainy-season trips, so having this ground cloth means I can set up in shelter mode without worrying about the tent body getting soaked. The fit is precise for the floor, and it packs down small enough to toss in my daypack without adding bulk.

Pitching in Shelter Mode without the tent body was a game-changer for a quick overnight—the footprint's grommets and strap system held up fine through a windy night. It’s clearly meant to take a beating so the tent floor doesn’t have to.

The cutouts line up perfectly with the tent poles, so getting it snug under the fly took me about five minutes. I like that it doubles as a ground cloth, and the extra protection on the floor already saved me from a couple of sharp rocks.
