Category: Tents

The Shield is a lightweight, four-season mountaineering tent with a single door and single-wall design meant to be taken to the highest elevations, withstand the strongest winds, and keep you warm in the coldest climates. This bomber tent is constructed with ultralight nylon, 3-layer waterproof, breathable fabric with a microporous membrane and tricot layer to enhance moisture management and provide protection from the elements. The Accessory Vestibule (sold separately) adds covered entry and exit, plus additional gear storage when you need a little more room to spread out undercover.

Brian R. ★★★★★

The single-wall design kept condensation to almost nothing even after three nights in freezing temps. Pitched it in steady 30mph gusts on an exposed ridge and it barely flinched. For the weight, I can't think of a better high-altitude shelter.

Joseph ★★★★★

Took this up to 14,000 feet over the weekend and the single-wall design kept every bit of warmth inside while the wind tried its hardest to shake us. Set up was fast enough that we were cozy before the weather turned, and it handled the snow load without any sagging. For how light it packs, I'm genu

Jason X. ★★★★★

Pitched it on an exposed ridge in 40mph gusts and it didn't so much as shudder, which is exactly what I needed for a four-season shelter. The single door is tight to get through with gear, but that's a fair trade for how little weight I'm hauling up. Woke up to frost on the fly but the inside stayed
