To extend the life of your tent floor, we recommend using a Big Agnes footprint or ground cloth. The Big Agnes footprint also enables you to pitch a lightweight, Fast Fly shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles, and stakes.

I've used footprints for years and this one finally fits like it was made for the tent—because it is. The grommets line up perfectly with the poles, so setting up the Fast Fly shelter took less than five minutes.

Set this up under the tent in about two minutes and the fabric feels sturdy enough to handle rocky ground without worry. The cutouts match the pole clips exactly, so there’s zero fiddling to get it snug.

Emily ★★★★★ Aug 25, 2026

The cutouts line up perfectly with the tent's pole clips, so it took me under two minutes to lay down and secure. Honestly, I was skeptical about spending extra on a footprint, but knowing I can use it for a Fast Fly pitch on future trips made it worth every penny.
