I was skeptical a strap could make that much difference, but after tightening it around my usual stuff sack, my sleeping bag took up noticeably less space in my pack. It’s featherlight, barely weighs anything, and I’ve already used it to squeeze down a pile of clothes for a weekend trip.

The cinch mechanism is so simple—one pull and my sleeping bag compresses to roughly half its usual stuff-sack size. My pack finally closes without me sitting on it like a suitcase.

Cramming my puffy jacket and quilt into the same stuff sack used to take forever, but this girdle cinches everything down so tight that I’ve got a few extra liters of space in my pack. The strap holds its tension well, even after a bumpy carry out.
