Lost my original stake on the last trip and this replacement fits the vestibule perfectly. The aluminum is sturdy enough that it drove into packed ground without bending, which is exactly what I needed for a windy night.

The aluminum is noticeably lighter than the steel stakes I've used before, yet it still drove into packed ground without bending. Snapped it right into my vestibule loop and the whole setup felt solid through the night.

Lost one of these on a windy night and this replacement locked into the vestibule pole immediately. The aluminum is light enough that it doesn’t add bulk to my pack, but it held firm through a storm last weekend. Glad I found a direct swap.
